After working with Palintest Photometers for over 20 years I can confidently recommend these units for the daily testing of swimming pool chemical levels.
Palintest have recently added the fantastic “Palintest Connect” to their new range of Lumiso Photometers. This system compliments the Aquarius Ultima Controllers and gives us additional data to assist with our remote monitoring service. Your test results are stored in the cloud via your laptop which gives us the ability to access those results.
No more messing about with pen and paper in a wet environment. Palintest Connect gives independent proof of pH and chlorine testing in support of building managers, service techs, school groundsmen and anyone else who is required to keep records.
An ideal unit for a Building Manager or Swim Coach where they have the need to test pH and FAC (or Bromine) levels of a pool daily.
The results can be loaded to the independent “Palintest Connect” database via a laptop thus eliminating the need for paper records.
Same as the unit above with the addition of a cyanuric and a calcium hardness test.
This is the perfect unit for working with FarSeight. Once connected to Palintest Connect it gives us all the site test information we need.
Lumiso Expert
This is the Palintest top of the range unit. These units can test for 35 chemicals. A perfect unit for anyone with the need to test more than just the basic pool chemicals.
If you feel there is a need to check your photometer, calibration kits are available. They do have a 6-month shelf life unfortunately.
We recommend the LoChlor Starver Test Kit. An easy-to-use test kit for phosphates.
The kit can be obtained through a loChlor distributor or perhaps from LoChlor directly.
I have found that using the Palintest calcium hardness table count test is the best method to use.
They can be obtained through your local pool product distributor.
We have found the Ultrapen PT1 Conductivity/TDS/Salinity and Temperature Pen to be a reliable and sturdy instrument.
